Logging In to MetaMask
1. Open the MetaMask Extension:
Click on the MetaMask icon in your browser's toolbar to open the extension.
2. Enter Your Password:
Enter the password you created during the setup process and click "Unlock" to log in to your MetaMask account.
3. Access Your Wallet:
Once logged in, you will have access to your MetaMask wallet, where you can view your Ethereum balance, transaction history, and manage your assets.
Using MetaMask with DApps
1. Explore DApps:
MetaMask allows you to interact with a variety of Ethereum-based decentralized applications (DApps). Visit popular DApps such as Uniswap, OpenSea, and Compound directly from your browser.
2. Connect Your Wallet:
When you visit a DApp, you will often see an option to connect your wallet. Click on this option and select MetaMask from the list of wallet providers. Follow the prompts to connect your MetaMask wallet to the DApp.
3. Perform Transactions:
Once connected, you can perform transactions within the DApp. For example, you can trade tokens on Uniswap, purchase NFTs on OpenSea, or lend and borrow assets on Compound. Confirm each transaction in MetaMask and ensure you have enough Ethereum for gas fees.
